1 Corinthians 3:6&8

1 Corinthians 3:5-9
"What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, even as the Lord gave opportunity to each one. I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth. Now he who plants and he who waters are one; but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor. For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building."
We are called to labor as Christians, planting seeds in people's hearts from the scripture just as Christ describes in Matthew 13:19-23.  Have you ever seen a seed planted in the ground?  Does it make a difference if someone twirls around, jumps up and down and drops the seed behind their back to plant it or if someone just simply puts it in the ground?  The manner in which a seed is planted matters nothing, but rather God who causes it to grow.
